The Khurshid Ahmad Memorial Lecture is an event established by The Islamic Foundation to honour the life and intellectual legacy of Professor Khurshid Ahmad (1932–2025).

The inaugural lecture will be held on Saturday, 18th April 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Islamic Foundation, Markfield Conference Centre, Ratby Lane, Markfield

Professor Khurshid Ahmad

Professor Khurshid Ahmad (1932–2025) was the esteemed founding chairman of The Islamic Foundation, a towering intellectual, a visionary Islamic economist, and a principled thought leader whose vision for an ethical and just society rooted in Islamic values continues to resonate today. He had a profound impact on Islamic intellectual thought in the 20th and 21st centuries.
